Calculation∶
The given triangle is right angled triangle as the sides 8 cm, 15 cm and 17 cm are making Pythagoras triplet.
Here, the hypotenuse is 17 cm.
In a right angled triangle the length of the circumradius is half the length of the hypotenuse.
So, circumradius, r = 17/2 = 8.5 cm
Area of the circumcircle = π r2
Area = 3.14 × (8.5)2 = 226.865 cm2
∴ The area of the circumcircle is 227 cm2.
