The logic followed here is:

In Step I, if the six digit numbers having first and last both are odd or even number then subtract 1 at even place digits if first number and last numbers are odd and even or vice – versa then add 1 at odd place digits and rest numbers remain same. For example, 376824 having first number odd and last number even then we subtract 1 from odd place digits i.e. 7+1 =8, 8+1=9, 4+1=5 which gives 386925.

In Step II, Add square of highest digit in respective numbers. For example, 386925 highest digit is 9 whose square is 81. Therefore, 386925 + 81 = 387006.
