Formula used:

1. MP = CP × (1 + 25/100)

2. Selling Price (SP) = MP × (1 - Discount/100)

3. Profit Percentage = [(SP - CP)/CP] × 100

Calculation:

MP = CP × (1 + 25/100)

⇒ ₹3,100 = CP × (1.25)

⇒ CP = ₹3,100 / 1.25

⇒ CP = ₹2,480

SP = MP × (1 - Discount/100)

⇒ SP = ₹3,100 × (1 - 12/100)

⇒ SP = ₹3,100 × 0.88

⇒ SP = ₹2,728

Profit Percentage = [(SP - CP)/CP] × 100
