⇒ a/b = c/x
If x is the third proportion of a & b then
a/b = b/x
Calculation:
Let fourth proportion be x
And y be the third proportion
So,
12/16 = 6/x
⇒ x = 8
4/6 = 6/y
⇒ y = 9
So, ratio = 8 : 9
∴ Ratio is 8 : 9
