CUET General Test Syllabus 2025: Download PDF for All Subjects
The Central Universities Entrance Test, commonly known and abbreviated as CUET, is a national-level exam that will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates who wish to take admissions in undergraduate CUET courses across the country shall have to take the CUET. The test scores along with the fulfilment of eligibility criteria shall be the deciding factor for the candidate’s admission.
- The Section III of the CUET Exam is General Test.
- Candidates have to attempt a total of 50 Questions out of 60 in the examination.
- For each correct answer, there will be given 5 marks and for each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

CUET Exam Pattern 2025 for the General Test
Candidates planning to take the CUET General Test must know the basic structure of the exam. This includes the sections that will be tested, the number of questions, exam duration etc. The CUET Exam Pattern for the General Test has been explained in the table below.
- There shall be a total of 60 questions in the test.
- Candidates are required to attempt only 50 questions.
- The questions will be objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
