The HPSC Lecturer Eligibility has been already released by the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) for all the candidates. The candidates can check the HPSC Lecturer Eligibility Criteria by visiting the official website of the HPSC. Before applying for the post of lecturer in the HPSC, the candidates must check the eligibility criteria to not have any confusion while filling up the application form. HPSC Lecturer Eligibility 2024

The HPSC Lecturer Eligibility 2024 requires candidates to be between 21 and 42 years of age, with no prior experience necessary. Applicants must hold a full-time Bachelor's and Master's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university. Candidates should be Indian citizens or meet specific nationality criteria, including those from Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees. There is no limit on the number of attempts, as long as candidates meet the age requirements.

HPSC Lecturer Age Limit

For the candidates applying for the Lecturer post, as per the HPSC Lecturer Eligibility for age, the age limit is set at 21 years to 42 years.

HPSC Lecturer Age Relaxation

For certain categories, there are always certain upper age relaxations. The candidates must check the age requirements for their category.

Scheduled Castes	05 years
Backward Classes	05 years
Wives of military personnel who are disabled while in military service.	05 years
Widowed or legally divorced women provided have not remarried.	05 years
Judicially separated women residing separately for more than two years from the date as decided for age for candidates of other categories.	05 years
Unmarried women	05 years
Ex-Serviceman	Extent of his military service was added by three years.
Disabled persons who are covered under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.	5 years (+5 years if a candidate belongs to Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes) subject to a maximum of 55 years.
Persons who have already worked or presently working on an Adhoc/ contract/ work-charged/ daily wages basis in any Department / Board I Corporation of Haryana Government.	Equal to the period of experience on Adhoc/ contract/ work-charged/ daily wages basis excluding the period of break, if any, subject to attaining the maximum age of 55 years.
* In the case of an ex-serviceman, his/her age will be calculated keeping in view the actual age minus (actual period of military service plus three years). If the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post for which he/she is seeking an appointment he/she shall be deemed to satisfy the condition regarding age limit.

Lecturer in Automobile Engineering	A Bachelors and Masters Degree in Automobile from a recognised university/Institution with First Class either in Bachelors or Masters degree. Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
Lecturer in Chemical Engineering	A Bachelors and Masters Degree in chemical engineering from a recognised university/Institution with First Class either in Bachelors or Masters degree Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
Lecturer in Civil Engineering	A Bachelors and Masters Degree in Civil engineering from a recognised university/Institution with First Class either in Bachelors or Masters degree Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
Lecturer in Computer Engineering	A Bachelors and Masters Degree in Computer engineering from a recognised university/Institution with First Class either in Bachelors or Masters degree Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
Lecturer in Electrical Engineering	A Bachelors and Masters Degree in Electrical engineering from a recognised university/Institution with First Class either in Bachelors or Masters degree Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
Lecturer in Fashion Design	A Bachelors and Masters Degree in fashion design from a recognised university/Institution with First Class either in Bachelors or Masters degree Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
Lecturer in Food Technology	A Bachelors and Masters Degree in food technology from a recognized institution with First Class either in Bachelors or Masters degree. OR First class Master of science degree in food technology/food science technology/food processing & technology with NEET/PhD in subject of food technology/food science technology/food processing & technology Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
Lecturer in Instrumentation & Control Engineering	A Bachelors and Masters Degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering from a recognised university/Institution with Class either in bachelors or masters degree Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering	A Bachelors and Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university with First Class either in Bachelors or Masters degree Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
Lecturer in Applied Science (English)	A Master of Arts (English) Degree with first-class along with NET/Phd in the subject of English from a recognized university/institution Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
Lecturer in Applied Science (Maths)	A First Class Master of Science (Math) Degree from a recognized university/institution with NET/Ph.D in the subject of Math Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
Lecturer in Applied Science (Physics)	A First Class Master of Science (Physics) Degree with NET/Ph.D in the subject of Math Ilom a recognized university/institution Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
Lecturer in Applied Science (Chemistry)	A First Class Master of Science (Chemistry) Degree with NET/Ph.D in the subject of Math from a recognized institute Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
Lecturer in Medical Electronics	A Bachelors and Masters Degree in medical electronics from a recognised university/Institution with First Class either in Bachelors or Masters degree Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
Lecturer in Medical Laboratory Technology	A Bachelors and Masters Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with First Class either in Bachelors or Masters from a recognised university Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
Lecturer in Pharmacy	A Bachelors and Masters Degree in Pharmacy with First Class either in Bachelors or Masters from a recognised university/Institution Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
Lecturer in Plastic Technology	Bachelors and Masters Degree in plastic technology from a recognised university/Institution with First Class either in bachelors or masters degree Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
Lecturer in Textile Processing	A Bachelors and Masters Degree in textile processing with First Class either in bachelors or masters from a recognised university Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
Lecturer in Textile Technology	A Bachelors and Masters Degree in textile technology with First Class either in bachelors or masters degree from recognized university Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
Foreman Instructor	A Bachelors and Masters Degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Production with First Class either in Bachelors or Masters from a recognised university/Institution Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
Lecturer in Business Management	A Masters Degree in Business Administration with first-class and NET/ph.D in the Management/Business Administration Management, Business subject of Business from a recognized, University / Institution Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
Lecturer in Finance Accounts & Audit	A Masters Degree in Commerce/Business Administration (Finance) with first class and NET/ Ph.D in the subject of Commerce/Business Administration (Finance) from a recognized university/institution Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.

HPSC Lecturer Number of Attempts

In the case of the HPSC lecturer, there is no such limit on the number of attempts. The candidates can apply for the post until they reach the maximum age limit specified in the eligibility criteria pdf. The maximum age limit extends for some specific reserved categories.

HPSC Lecturer Nationality

To apply for the HPSC Lecturer Recruitment, a candidate must be either:-

a citizen of India, or
a subject of Nepal, or
a subject of Bhutan, or
a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
