Scribe Details for the Haryana Jail Warder Recruitment 2023

• In case of persons with benchmark disabilities in the category of blindness, locomotor disability (both arms affected-BA), and cerebral palsy, the scribe will be allowed, if so desired by the candidate. 
• In the case of the remaining categories of persons with benchmark disabilities, the scribe will be allowed to the production of a certificate to the effect that the person concerned has physical limitations to writing and the scribe is essential to write the examination on his/her behalf, from the Chief Medical Officer/Civil Surgeon/Medical Superintendent of a Government Health Care Institution as per prescribed format.
• The qualification of the scribe should be enrollment in case the minimum qualification prescribed for the post is 10+2 and if the minimum qualification prescribed for the post is graduation or above then the scribe shall be matriculated or 10+2.
• Scribe should not be a candidate for the same examination.

Written exam

• All questions shall be compulsory.
• The Question paper shall be Bilingual (English & Hindi). An Offline (OMR-based) written examination will be held for this written exam.
• The total no. of questions will be 100 with a weightage of 0.975 marks for each question.
• A candidate has to fill one option compulsorily out of the five assigned options. Extra five minutes shall be given to mark the fifth option if the candidate does not know the answer. The total time allowed for the paper will be (100+5) =105 minutes including the five minutes
• There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Socio-Economic Criteria

The candidates who will clear the written exam will be shortlisted to appear in the socio-economic criteria round. 2.5% weightage for socio-economic criteria shall be provided to eligible candidates who have claimed the same in the application form on fulfilling various socio-economic criteria as detailed in the official notification.
