AP DSC TGT Exam Dates 2025

AP TGT Vacancy 2025

The AP TGT Recruitment 2025 has been announced for 1781 vacancies. These vacancies are distributed subject-wise under various schools. The AP DSC TGT vacancy distribution is given below.

AP Model Schools – TGT Vacancies (Total: 248)

AP Residential Schools – TGT Vacancies (Total: 120)

MJPAPBC Welfare Residential School – TGT Vacancies (Total: 66)

AP Social Welfare Residential School – TGT Vacancies (Total: 392)

AP TGT Apply Online 2025

The AP TGT application forms are accepted through the online mode only. The application must be submitted by 15th May 2025.  Below are the step-by-step instructions to apply online:

Step 1: Online Registration

Visit the APDSC website.  On the Homepage, click the link for 'New Registration'. A pop-up listing the disclaimer will appear. Read all the points and select the checkboxes. Then click 'Proceed'. On the net page, enter your personal details and communication details. Then 'Generate OTP'.

Step 2. OTP Verification

The OTP will be sent to your mobile/e-mail to verify the communication details. Enter the OTP to proceed.

Step 3. Fill Out AP DSC TGT Application Form

Login using your registration number and password. Now fill out the AP DSC TGT online form carefully. Verify all the details and save.

Step 4: Upload Documents

Attach the required documents and upload the recent passport- size photograph and signature. Verify the details and click on the submit button.

Step 5. Fee Payment

Pay the required APS TGT application fee and submit the application.

Step 6: Print Application Form

Download and take a printout of the AP DSC TGT application form for future reference.

AP DSC TGT Application Fee

The applicants have to pay a fee of Rs.750/- towards application processing and conduct of the recruitment test. The fee payment is online only.. Candidates need to pay separately for each post they apply to.

AP TGT Selection Process 2025

The AP DSC TGT selection process includes an objective-type computer-based test and evaluation of CTET/APTET scores. This is followed by document verification of the candidates who qualify the CBT. 

CBT

This will be an objective-type exam. Marks scored in the test carry 80% weightage in the overall selection process.

CTET/AP TET Scores

The marks scored by candidates in AP TET/CTET will be checked. These marks carry 20% weightage in the overall selection.

English Proficiency Test

This is a qualifying test only. The test will be conducted only for non-language teacher posts. Teachers under Special Education need not appear for this test.

AP TGT Eligibility 2025

• The age limit of the applicants for the AP DSC TGT recruitment must be between 18 to 44 years.
• To be eligible for the AP DSC TGT post, The candidates must possess a Second Class Bachelor's Degree from the UGC recognized University with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject (or) Must possess four-year Integrated degree course from the Regional Institute of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks in aggregate and must possess B.Ed recognized by NCTE (or) equivalent degree with methodology in the concerned subject from UGC recognized University.

AP TGT Syllabus 2025

The AP TGT Syllabus for the written exam includes topics from GK & Current Affairs, Perspectives in Education, Educational Psychology, the concerned subject Content, and Teaching Methodology. These subjects are common for all posts. 'Category of disability specialization', is a topic included in the written test syllabus for AP DSC TGT Special Education.

The syllabus for the English Proficiency Test includes topics from English Grammar, Writing Skills (Letter Writing, News Report, Diary Entry, Conversation,
Description, Diary Entry, etc.), and Comprehension. This test is only for Non-Language Teachers.
