Effective radiated power (ERP) is defined as:

ERP = G ⋅ Pt watts

Where, G = Gain of the Antenna

Pt = transmitted power

Calculation:

Given that, G = 30 dB and Pt = 10 W

Since, G(in dB) = 10 log10 (G)

30 = 10 log10 (G)

3 = log10 (G)

∴ G = 103 = 1000
