Failed by = 14 marks

Marks obtained = 210 marks

Concept used:

If he failed by means we need to add that and if he passed by we will subtract it.

Calculations:

Let, the total marks is x

⇒ (35x/100) = 210 + 14

(35x/100) = 224

⇒ x = 22400/35

⇒ x = 640

The answer is 640 marks.
