Let Poojitha’s age be ‘x’ years,

One-third of Poojitha’s age three years ago plus one-half of her age two years from now is twenty years,

⇒ (x – 3)/3 + (x + 2)/2 = 20

⇒ 2x – 6 + 3x + 6 = 120

⇒ x = 24

∴ Poojitha’s present age is 24 years.
