1. X is sitting between J and S and is second to the right of H.

2. Q and H are at the extreme ends of the straight line.

2. L is sitting at the second place to the left of Q and to the immediate left of I.

There are two people between J and Q, so case 2 will be eliminated.

From Case I, H sits third to the left of J.

From the options, we can conclude that H sits third to the left of J.

Hence, 'H' is the correct answer.
