Now, arranging the word in alphabetical order:

Word	J	O	U	R	N	A	L
Alphabetical order	A	J	L	N	O	R	U

Now, after arranged in alphabetical order the letter which is fourth from the left is: 'N',

and, the one which is second from the right is: R.

In the English alphabetical series there are three letter between 'N' and 'R' i.e: 'O', 'P', 'Q'.

Hence, the correct answer is "Option 2".
