The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced the exam dates for the Specialist Officer (SO) HR Officer 2025 recruitment. The Online Preliminary Exam will take place on 22nd and 23rd November 2025, followed by the Mains Exam on 4th January 2026. In the previous cycle, applications were accepted from 1st August 2023, with a total of 31 vacancies available. Candidates with a full-time postgraduate degree/diploma in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations/ HR / HRD/ Social Work / Labour Law can apply for this post. IBPS SO HR Officer Selection Process 2025

The candidates will undergo 3 stages of selection process to be shortlisted for the post of HR Officer Scale-I. These stages are:

• Prelims Examination - The Preliminary exam is just a qualifying exam and the marks that the candidates score in the prelims are not counted towards final merit list preparation.
• Mains Examination - The candidates who qualify the Mains Examination will be shortlisted for the Interview. The marks scored in the Mains Exam will also be used for preparation of Merit List.
• Interview: The interview is conducted for 100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview will not be less than 40% for UR and 35% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates. The ratio of Online Main Examination and interview for preparing the merit list will be 80:20 respectively.
