PM Netanyahu stated that the operation will continue for as many days as it takes to remove this threat.

So far, two people have been reportedly killed and around 20 people were injured after an Iranian missile struck residential buildings in Rishon Lezion, in central Israel.

According to state-run media outlet IRNA, Major General Amir Hatami has been appointed as the new Chief Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army.
Explosions rocked Jerusalem as fresh Iranian missiles headed toward the Israeli capital, CNN reported. In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces said, “An additional barrage of missiles was launched toward the State of Israel."
CNN reported that seven individuals injured in the latest wave of strikes in Israel were transported to Ichilov Medical Center in Tel Aviv, according to a statement from the hospital. Most of the patients sustained mild injuries, while one was reported to be in moderate condition.
In a separate incident, two members of Israel's emergency services sustained minor injuries from glass fragments when a mobile intensive care unit was struck by shrapnel in the Tel Aviv area, the Magen David Adom (MDA) service reported. They were treated at the scene and did not require hospitalization.

According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the targeted sites included the Hamadan air base in western Iran and the Tabriz air base in the northwest, which served as a surface-to-surface missile launch site. The Tabriz facility was reportedly "dismantled" in the operation. The IDF also stated that it destroyed dozens of Iranian UAVs and missile launchers during the coordinated strikes.
A woman was killed in the Israeli city of Ramat Gan after being struck by a falling weapon fragment, marking the first reported fatality from the Iranian missile attacks, according to Israeli police, CNN reported on Saturday. The incident occurred in the Dan district, located east of Tel Aviv. Police said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Police and other emergency services remain on the scene as operations continue.
