iPhone 14 Updates: Despite having the same SoC as the iPhone 13 series, iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will get a performance boost. This is due to the new cellular modem and a new internal design.
According to reports, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be fitted with the A16 Bionic SoC chipset.
The non-pro models are also tipped to have 6GB of RAM, exceeding the 4GB of RAM in the iPhone 13 series.

The Pro models are rumoured to have a faster and more energy efficient LPDDR5 RAM while the non-pro models will have 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The iPhone 13 series also features a similar RAM, but with 4G.
Based on this information, it seems that the non-Pro iPhone 14 models will come with a performance as compared to the iPhone 13 models despite featuring the same SoC.
