Babar Azam has been seen preparing for an anticipated large batting performance in Peshawar Zalmi’s upcoming PSL 2025 clash against Multan Sultans. Babar Azam spent his Friday, April 18 dedicating himself to intense batting practise at the nets following his pair of zero and one in matches against Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United. Social media posted a video showing Babar hitting several big sixes as he strives to recover his batting form.
Babar Azam Seen Trying To Regain His Form
The day before Peshawar Zalmi played their important match against Multan Sultans, Babar Azam conducted an arduous practise session at the nets to rebuild his form. The social media video shows the cricketer successfully readjusting his rhythm through memorable sixes played to perfection in a one-minute clip. Babar Azam experiences his most challenging batting period to date in his career. Babar Azam scored his final international century during mid-2023 by clubbing match-winning 151 runs against Nepal at the 2023 Asia Cup.

Babar Azam’s Struggles
Throughout Pakistan’s home ODI tri-series and 2025 ICC Champions Trophy the cricketer never managed to score important runs with his bat. During the Peshawar Zalmi captaincy in the PSL 2025 season Babar Azam managed to score only one run across two matches with a batting performance average of 0.50. The Peshawar Zalmi remains at the bottom of PSL 2025 points table after two defeats and must defeat the Multan Sultans on April 19 at the Rawalpindi Stadium.
