India and England will play a 5 match Test series commencing from June 20. It was reported that Australia could not train at Lord’s on Saturday (June 8) because the Indian team was using the grounds for its practice. Code Sports says that while the Indians went through their normal training session, the Aussies were not allowed to use the famous ground when they wanted to train.

The information in the report stated that the Australian team had to travel for three hours before they found the right place to train. Down under, there are complaints that India was practicing at Australia’s cost because the Tendulkar-Anderson trophy starts only on June 20, after the WTC final has concluded. The first game between India and England will take place on July 10, and the game at Lord’s will be the third match of the series.

“I think this is the best version of the stadium this morning,” he said. “There’s no one around, which is great. I’m sure it will be much more civil this time around. Things got pretty heated in the middle of that Ashes series, but I think a lot of them will have learned their lesson and I’m sure they’ll be very polite.“
The BCCI uploaded on Sunday a short clip of Shubman Gill and his side practicing at Lord’s. Scenes from London and the team practicing some stretches and football indoors were included in the video. The team then went outdoors and started running and training in the field. Head coach Gautam Gambhir and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, together with other experts, were seen carefully studying the Duke’s ball.
