In 2024-25 season Cristiano Ronaldo once again lifted no sliverware with Al-Nassr and the five time Ballon d’Or winner seriously thought about his future. However with the lastest reports indicating that he is set to remain at the club, the Saudi Pro League outfit are keen to surround him with some of the finest talents in the world, with Bayern Munich centre-back Kim-Min jae being among them. Kim logged considerable minutes with the Bavarians last season but is apparently willing to take the transfer to the Middle East.
Kim Min-jae Open To New Challenge As Al-Nassr Prepare Bid
Kim is under contract to Bayern through 2028, although the German champions have already signed Tah on a free transfer, so they might accept to sell the South Korean international at a reduced price. In their latest campaign, Al-Nassr struggled to avoid conceding late goals and Ronaldo might believe that Kim signing would help seal the defensive gap in their team. No official movement has been made by Saudi as yet but it has been reported that Al-Nassr have laid the foundations to sign Kim. It is thought that he is willing to take up a new challenge having received some criticism in the course of his stay in Germany.

Kim Min-jae’s Performance In 2024-25 Season
In 2024, Kim Min-jae played a good season in competitions, missing only one game out of 43 matches and scoring 3 goals. He made 27 appearances in Bundesliga, scoring twice in 2289 minutes. In his UEFA Champions League season, he appeared in 13 matches scoring one goal and accumulating 1,072 minutes. Moreover, he featureed in three DFB-Pokal games. Regarded as a defensive powerhouse and an aerial power, Kim was a mainstay at the back and played a key role in the Bayern Munich defence all season long, proving his trustworthiness in the league as well as in the continentals.
