Peshawar Zalmi played against Karachi Kings in match 11 of PSL but ended up in the losing side. It all began with a disciplined performance with ball as the Kings executed their plan well and restricted Peshawar Zalmi at the score of 147. Even though the surface wasn’t easy for batting, Zalmi was short of 10-15 runs to reach a competitive score.
After Peshawar Zalmi’s loss, skipper Babar Azam highlighted what went wrong for the team and said that the team will rectify the mistakes.

“We were a few runs short to be honest. The ball wasn’t coming on to the bat nicely in the initial few overs. Also, I got out at the wrong time, we lost the momentum following that and we didn’t finish off well. When you are set it becomes easier to bat on the wicket, and we were looking forward to build partnerships after getting set. That was our plan, but it did not plan out well.
