Team India has been focusing on its fast bowling and its batting contingent. After the IPL, the Indian team has been blessed with many rising stars who showcased their prowess as batters as well as bowlers. Fast bowlers like Mayank Aggarwal and Umran Malik have been excellent with the ball and have drawn the authorities’ attention with their fiery speed. India is set to receive another speedster who is just 17 years old for India’s Under-19 tour. R.D. Pranav Raghuvendra was at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence and impressed the officials with his bowling at a speed of 147.3 Km/hr. The BCCI Officials have decided to send him for the England tour that is supposed to commence from June 24 to July 23.
“I love pace and I want to bowl fast. It feels great to scare batsmen with bouncers and hit them on the gloves with hard lengths. To keep doing that, I need to work on several aspects including accuracy, which is why I don’t keep an eye on the speed gun.” Pranav Raghavendra told The Indian Express.
Keep your eyes on Pranav Ragavendra, the Under-19 player. He's clocked a blistering 147.3 kmph at the BCCI Centre of Excellence, the fastest by any Indian Under-19 player. A year prior, at just 16, he was already hitting 139 kmph during MRF foundation camp. pic.twitter.com/OxaO1kKaWD

Will Pranav Turn Out Like Umran Malik And Mayank Yadav?
As Pranav has won a place in the Indian Under-19 team, which will tour England towards the end of this month, he may be able to play a pivotal role in the team. A bowler with a speed of 150 kilometers per hour is considered very dangerous at the international level. India has only a very few bowlers who are capable of bowling with such pace. Umran Malik and Mayank Yadav are a couple of shockers who have astounded everyone with their speed in the recent past, but injuries have been ruling them out almost all the time.
Meanwhile, Pranav is the youngest player who hit that level. The people who have seen him in action have opined that he could break the 150 kmph barrier soon, and when he achieves it on an under-19 tour of England, where the team will play two tests and five ODIs beginning June 27, it will hardly be surprising.
