Chennai Super Kings faced defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Chepauk when SRH’s bowling attack destroyed CSK’s victory hopes to claim a 5 wicket victory. The SRH had a superlative outing in bowling when Harshal Patel secured four wickets and then Jaydev Unadkat and Pat Cummins each took two wickets. With this the SRH skipper Pat Cummins becomes the only SRH skipper to beat CSK at home (Chepauk). This has led to fans circulating the iconic dialogue by the Australian, ‘A Fortress. They call it a Fortress.‘ of the Ashes 2019, when Australia defeated England in the first match at Edgbaston.

SRH Defeats CSK At Home
SRH achieved their vital victory to stay active in the playoffs by using Kamindu Mendis (32) and Ishan Kishan (44) to lead their batting. Both batting and bowling performances by CSK remained dim throughout the game. In the match Dewald Brewis led the SRH batting line-up with 42 runs before Ayush Mahtre accumulated 30 difficult runs. The only member of CSK who successfully defended the team was Noor Ahmad by acquiring two wickets.
Ashes 2019, Edgbaston
Australia took their first victory at Edgbaston since 2001, marking their Ashes triumph in England since 2001 while coming back from 122 for 8 before tea on day one demonstrated their immense determination in the match. The Australian cricket team considered themselves strong while heading to Lord’s for the second Test after achieving a 1-0 series lead through Steven Smith’s exceptional return and pace duo of Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon and healthy support from keeper batsman Tim Paine and batsmen Marnus Labuschagne and Ben Siddle. The Australian team secured their first victory in England while trailing their opponents in the first innings since their last win in 1981. The English team maintained decent levels of performance despite their challenges since they lost the coin toss and their main fast bowler got injured and also fell short in both good first inning positions (they were 282 for 4).
