Camps Identified In Strategic Provinces To Strike
Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai said that many terror camps were identified for targeting in Operation Sindoor. Afterwards, there was a careful scrutiny to finalise the targets. “There are nine camps that you are now familiar with, which were confirmed by our various intelligence agencies to be inhabited. Some of these were in PoJK, while there were others that were located in the Punjab province of Pakistan… What followed was a careful scrutiny of these locations.” According to Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai, ‘Operation Sindoor’ was conceptualised with a clear military aim.
Over 100 Terrorists Killed On May 7

Air Marshal A K Bharti displayed before and after pictures of the terror targets destroyed by India. ‘All Our Pilots Are Back Home,’ – Hotline Messages
Air Marshal A K Bharti said the Indian Armed Forces completed all the goals they had planned. He added that all Indian pilots returned safely. He also said the success was clear for everyone to see. DGMO Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai said that he had sent another hotline message to his Pakistani counterpart on violations after May 10. “We have earlier today sent another hotline message to my counterpart, highlighting these violations of the understanding between the DGMOs on May 10 and our firm and clear intent to respond to these fiercely,” Ghai said. He said these violations were responded to robustly and dealt with “as they must be”.
Navy’s CBG, Ships, And Subs Deployed At Sea Post-Pahalgam Attack
Vice Admiral A N Pramod said: “Navy’s Carrier Battle Group (CBG), surface forces, submarines, and aviation assets were immediately deployed at sea with full combat readiness in consort with the joint operation plan of the Indian Defence Forces.”
Pak DGMO Proposed Cessation Of Hostilities, We Decided To Speak Again On May 12
“…My communication with the Pak DGMO was conducted at 15:35 hrs yesterday and resulted in cessation of cross-border firing and air intrusions by either side with effect from 17:00 hrs, 10th of May…,” DGMO Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai said. He added that both decided to speak further on May 12 to discuss the modalities for the longevity of the understanding between India and Pakistan. “However, disappointingly, expectedly, it took only a couple of hours for the Pakistan Army to violate these arrangements by cross-border and across Line of Control firing, followed by drone intrusions through last night and in the early hours of today,”
Aim Was To Target Terrorists And Terror Infrastructure
During the briefing, Air Marshal A K Bharti said that the Army’s aim was “to target terrorists and their infrastructure, not any other infrastructure, especially not Pakistani civilian or military establishments”. He added that this was achieved with precision. He also added- The key difference between India and Pakistan is that India had targeted terrorists, while Pakistan Army’s response was “focused on our civilians and military infrastructure”. Bharti said that in response to this, the Indian Army struck radar installations near Lahore and close to Gujranwala.
If Pakistan Dares Again..
“We possess both numerical strength and technological superiority, giving us the capability to deliver a powerful and decisive blow if needed,” said Vice Admiral AN Pramod. “Our forces are fully in control of the maritime domain, with robust surveillance, firepower, and preparedness in place. We sincerely hope Pakistan does not miscalculate our resolve or capabilities, because any provocation will be met with a strong and unmatched response.”
