The Authority’s ACEO Prerna Singh on Tuesday checked the progress at the Char Murti Underpass in Greater Noida West and the construction of Shahberi Road. The ACEO requested that officials increase the speed of building the underpass and finish the widening of Shahberi Road immediately.
First, Prerna Singh went to Char Murti Chowk and checked the work that had been done on the bridge. An underpass is being made next to the 60-meter road. In order to prevent any hindrance in work, she told officials to transfer the sewer lines and trees located on either side of the roundabout. The owner also made it clear that there would be action if the renovation was not completed on time.
She had OSD Abhishek Pathak go to the site to ensure horticulture-related activities were finished. Together with his team, the OSD went to the site and ordered the team to follow required steps.
Then, the ACEO gave approval to improve the culvert that runs between Gaur City and Char Murti. Traffic usually backs up because of this culvert. She ordered that the project begin at once to help ease the problems on the roads.
As soon as work on the underpass is finished, people commuting between Noida, Ghaziabad, and Greater Noida will save significant time. The ACEO examined the current work being done on Shahberi Road. The process of widening the road is moving fast and should end within two weeks. In fact, the ACEO is determined to meet or beat the given target.
Commuters going between Ghaziabad, Noida, and Greater Noida will experience much less traffic after Shahberi Road is widened. Prabhat Shankar, the In-Charge of the Work Circle, and Manager Nitish Kumar were present at the inspection.
