Lucknow Traffic Alert! Curbs In Place Ahead Of RCB Vs SRH Match At Ekana Cricket Stadium Today – Check Entry & Parking Rules

Normal traffic movement is expected to resume once the event is over. Motorists and commuters must avoid the mentioned stretches and use alternative routes & public transport to reach the venue on time.

Traffic Advisory: Ahead of the scheduled IPL match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Ekana Cricket Stadium today, the Lucknow Police Commissionerate has issued a comprehensive traffic advisory. The advisory, effective from 3 pm till midnight on May 23, outlines several restrictions as well as parking rules for commuters and spectators.

According to the advisory, there will be restrictions on the movement of commercial vehicles across city routes till the conclusion of the event. Buses and large vehicles are advised to take alternate routes. Meanwhile, private cars and taxis will be allowed entry with parking guidelines and precise drop-off. People are advised to use the suggested routes at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium to avoid overcrowding and ensure smooth traffic flow.

Key Traffic Arrangements In Place

For Roadways buses, Private buses/Commercial vehicles:

– Vehicles coming from Sultanpur Road will be diverted from Amalut Tiraha

– Vehicles approaching from Arjunganj Cantonment will be diverted from Katai Bridge.

– All commuters are strictly urged to comply with the diversion plan on Shaheed Path.

For City Buses:

– Selected City buses will be allowed to run during the match hours between Husadiya and Sushant Golf City on Shaheed Path ( Only on the right side of the road)

For Auto/E-rickshaw:

– E-rickshaws and autos are banned on Shaheed Path and the service road on the match day.

– E-rickshaws approaching from Arjunganj should turn left from Ahimamau. They must drop passengers on the road behind PHQ, UP-112, and PGI, and then go towards Gomti Nagar.

– Similarly, autos and e-rickshaws coming from Sultanpur Road will turn left and go towards Lulu Mall and drop passengers.

NOTE: Under no circumstances will passengers be dropped off or picked up within a radius of 500 meters from Ahimamau.

For Ola Uber and other hired vehicles:

– Like city buses, passengers will not be picked up or dropped off on Shaheed Path between Husadiya and Sushant Golf City.

– Vehicles coming from the airport will drop passengers before Ahimamau.

– Vehicles coming from Arjunganj will turn left from Ahimamau and drop passengers on the road behind PHQ, UP-112. Then they should go towards Gomtinagar via the G-20 intersection.
