Delhi: A massive fire broke out on the sixth floor of an apartment in Delhi’s Dwarka area on Tuesday. As per the latest update, two children (a boy and a girl, both aged 10 years) died after jumping from the balcony. Delhi Police said that they were declared dead at a Hospital. Moments later, their father, identified as 35-year-old Yash Yadav, was also killed after he jumped off the building.

Some people are feared to be trapped in the building near the MRV School. The fire department deployed about 8 fire engines to the scene to douse the flames, and a sky lift to save the trapped people shortly after receiving the information via call.

The incident has triggered panic and chaos in the area. The photos and videos of the fire site, circulating on social media show flames engulfing the building. Additionally, grey smoke coming out of the building dominated the entire area. Meanwhile, a bunch of people were seen shouting in fear from one of the balconies of the structure. Authorities are trying to ascertain the cause of the fire.
