Hero Vida was recently seen being tested in India, and it seems that the vehicle is now all ready to launch as Hero has teased a slew of products that would be revealed under the Vida banner. The new Vx2 model that would be launched on July 1 would have different styling and features to the existing line up the V2. But the scooters would be based on the same existing platform.
Vida VX2 Models More Affordable Than The V2
Beyond its testing spree, the vehicle was also spotted in a dealership, a few of the details were visible back then as well. The Vida VX2’s design is much more conventional and is far more subtle than the others. The VX2’s design and features would be different than the V2, while both the scooters would share the internal components such as the battery, motor, chassis and electronics. This would help the manufacturer use its existing components and production capabilities to achieve better economies of the scale.

Currently Hero Vida’s line up starts at Rs 74,000 for the V2 Lite with the 2.2 KWH battery and goes up to Rs 1.20 lakh. For the V2 Pro. Pricing of the new scooter have not been revealed yet. Its possible that the scooter might be priced aggressively. The Scooter would be launched on July 1.

For the first time the affordable Vida VX 2 was spied without any disguise a few monthsback. As per the images that have were revealed by Car And Bike.com there would be multiple variants of VX2. its possible that the VX2 might be offered in trim levels such as the Lite, Plus and Pro. Hero Vida VX2 starts off at Rs 74,000 ex showroom for the base variant, the mid spec variant has been priced at Rs 85,000 Ex Showroom and the top spec variant would be priced at Rs 1,15,300. The VX2 would be equipped with front disc brakes and telescopic front and rear shock absorbers.

The scooter that was seen undisguised had a digital dashboard with a joystick and beyond that, to operate the screen. To further ensure the safety of the users the scooter would also have a prioritized SOS button that could be pressed and used in the case of an emergency.
Battery Size and Range
Like the V2 the Vida VX 2 would feature a removable battery, the variant line up would mirror that of the V2 with lite, Plus and Pro Trims. The base variant of the car is likely to come with a 2.2 KWH pack white the top spec variant would be launched with a 3.4 KWH battery. As per a report by Car and Bike .com the Vida VX2would be powered by a permanent magnet motor, the output would be lower than that of the V2’s 6Kw peak. The Range of the top spec.
